Trust

Privacy promises

What we promise your shoppers. These promises are why they connect, and why the data stays trustworthy.

Shoppers only connect if they trust what happens next. Every brand on Pointless works under the same promises, and the console and agent tools enforce them so you never have to think about it.

Shoppers choose what you see

Shoppers can hide any brand, order, item or category, at any time. Your numbers update to match.

Sensitive categories start hidden

Health, personal care, medical, adult and baby purchases are hidden until the shopper unhides them.

Groups of three or more

Any count under three shoppers is left out everywhere: the console, findings, the CLI and agent tools.

No names, ever

You see counts and products. You never see who a shopper is, where they live, or how to reach them.

Your numbers only

A brand key reads that brand's own numbers and nothing else. It can't change anything.

Shoppers can leave

A shopper can download their data or start over at any time. When they start over, their data leaves your counts.

What shoppers see

The shopper has their own view of everything that was read: their brands, orders, routines and a Privacy page with every hidden category and a button to download their data. They can also open the brand view to see exactly what a brand sees, built only from what they didn't hide.

Why this helps you

A shopper who stays in control has a reason to stay connected and to refresh when asked. Data that was shared willingly is also data you can use without worrying about where it came from.
