Your privacy
What we keep
What's stored after you connect, what never is, and who can see what.
Never stored
- Your Amazon password. It goes to Amazon over a secure session and is forgotten. It isn't saved, logged, or sent anywhere else.
- Your Amazon session. The sign-in session closes as soon as the read is done. We can't go back into your account. To refresh, you sign in again.
Stored for you
- Your orders from the read: dates, products, brands, prices and categories.
- Your choices: what you hid, who each item was for, your "why" notes and routines you dismissed.
- Bank or card purchases, only if you connect a bank or card.
Hiding is a filter on top of your read. It never edits the read itself, so you can always unhide.
What a brand sees
| Brands see | Brands never see |
|---|---|
| Counts across many shoppers, in groups of three or more | Your name, email, address or phone number |
| Products and categories you left visible | Anything you hid, or sensitive categories you didn't unhide |
| Which stores people buy through | Your routines' dates, your "why" notes, or who you buy for |
